ACCIONA Energía is one of the world’s leading wind energy operators by net owned installed capacity. The company has been at the forefront of wind power development for more than three decades. In 1993, it began construction of Spain’s first wind farm (KW Tarifa, Cádiz), which was successfully repowered in 2018 to extend its operational life and improve performance. In 2004 ACCIONA Energía began its activity in Canada with the installation of the 30MW Magrath wind farm in Alberta Province.
